Email practices

Individually addressed messages to a named person at a named company, about our product. We do not run newsletters, mailing lists or bulk marketing campaigns.

Our website is veloquence.ai. Outbound mail is sent from three other domains we own, so that a problem with one never affects the rest: getveloquence.com, veloquencehq.com and tryveloquence.com. Each of them redirects to this site, and everything on this page applies to all of them.

Commercial business data providers. Business addresses only. We do not scrape websites or social platforms, we do not buy consumer data, and we do not use personal email addresses.

Usually not. A first message from us is unsolicited. We think that is defensible for business-to-business correspondence at low volume with a working opt-out, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Every message carries an unsubscribe link. It works immediately, it is permanent, and it applies across every domain we send from, not only the one that contacted you. Replying with any request to stop has the same effect. To stop mail to colleagues as well, write to abuse@veloquence.ai with their addresses and we will suppress each of them.

We do not use affiliates, resellers or any third party to send mail on our behalf. Nobody else advertises our sites by email. We do not send to addresses that have opted out, and we do not re-add them from a later data purchase.

We cap daily sending and we cap how many people we contact at any one company. We would rather send fewer messages to the right people.

All our sending domains publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC, with DMARC set to reject.
